Shipping & Delivery Policy
Shipping & Delivery Policy
Global Containers Sales USA provides reliable, fully insured, nationwide delivery across the continental United States for shipping containers, commercial trailers, and equipment parts.
1. Nationwide Geographic Coverage
We deliver commercial trailers, storage containers, and heavy transport equipment to commercial jobsites, industrial yards, rural properties, agricultural operations, and residential locations across all lower 48 US states.
2. Estimated Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines from logistics confirmation and dispatch scheduling: • Equipment Parts & Standard Accessories: 3 to 7 business days via standard commercial freight or parcel carriers. • Commercial Trailers (In-Stock Inventory): 5 to 10 business days depending on distance from regional distribution depots. • Shipping Containers (Standard & High Cube): 5 to 14 business days from dispatch scheduling. • Custom-Built or Modified Units: Lead times vary by fabrication schedule and will be agreed upon in writing prior to order finalization.
3. Delivery Equipment & Offloading Methods
• Tilt-Bed / Roll-Off Trailers (Standard Container Delivery): Shipping containers are delivered via specialized tilt-bed roll-off trailers. The truck backs into the desired placement position, tilts the trailer bed, and gently slides the container onto the ground as the truck pulls forward. • Flatbed & Step-Deck Delivery: Commercial trailers and volume orders may arrive on flatbed trailers. Customers must have adequate offloading equipment (forklift with appropriate tonnage capacity, telehandler, or crane) on site unless roll-off delivery has been explicitly booked. • Tow-Away Delivery: Available for road-ready commercial trailers dispatched directly to customer facilities.
4. Site Access & Clearance Requirements
The customer is strictly responsible for ensuring that the destination property satisfies the following logistical clearances prior to carrier arrival: • Overhead Height Clearance: Minimum 14 to 16 feet of unobstructed clearance free of low-hanging tree branches, telephone lines, and building eaves. • Road & Gate Width: Minimum 10 to 12 feet of width clearance along all access roads, entry gates, and driveways. • Straight-Run Approach: - 20ft Containers: Minimum 60 to 75 feet of straight, unobstructed clearance in front of the placement spot. - 40ft Containers: Minimum 100 to 120 feet of straight, unobstructed clearance in front of the placement spot. • Ground Surface Integrity: The ground must be level, firm, and dry (concrete, asphalt, compacted gravel, or dry hard-packed soil). Wet grass, mud, sand, or soft ground can cause a 30,000+ lb delivery rig to sink or get stuck. If a driver cannot safely access or offload at the site due to soft ground, insufficient clearance, or unforeseen obstacles, redelivery or standby fees assessed by the carrier will be the customer's responsibility.
5. Scheduling & Driver Communication
Once your order is scheduled for dispatch, our logistics coordination team and the assigned carrier driver will contact you via telephone or email 24 to 48 hours prior to arrival to confirm delivery windows, verify site readiness, and review final driving directions. An authorized adult must be present at delivery to sign paperwork.
6. Weather & Force Majeure
Severe weather events, blizzard conditions, road closures, state Department of Transportation (DOT) oversized travel bans, or natural emergencies may occasionally affect delivery schedules. In such events, our dispatch team will maintain active communication to reschedule delivery as quickly and safely as possible.
