Product Condition Policy

Product Condition Policy

Transparency and accurate equipment grading are the foundation of Global Containers Sales USA. Every listing on our platform explicitly details the condition grade, specifications, and inspection status of the equipment so you know exactly what to expect.

1. New Trailers & Equipment

All new commercial trailers, truck beds, and equipment parts are brand-new, factory-fresh, and have never been previously titled, deployed, or put into commercial service. • Backed by manufacturer structural warranties. • Supplied with clean Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) or factory title. • Fully compliant with federal Department of Transportation (DOT) safety, axle, and lighting standards.

2. Shipping Container Condition Grades

Shipping containers are graded strictly in accordance with standardized international maritime and intermodal criteria: • One-Trip / Like-New Containers: Manufactured overseas, loaded with dry cargo once to cross the ocean, and delivered directly to domestic storage depots. They feature pristine interiors, fresh factory paint, smooth-operating cargo doors, clean marine-grade plywood flooring, and minimal exterior handling blemishes. • Cargo Worthy (CW): Certified structurally sound for international maritime shipping and high-security storage. Features solid corner castings, square framing, wind and water-tight seams, and intact door gaskets. Normal cosmetic wear, surface scratches, and minor dings are present. • Wind & Water Tight (WWT): Fully weather-sealed with zero light leaks, no structural holes, and operational gasketed cargo doors. Ideal for secure jobsite storage, farm equipment housing, and industrial tool protection. Shows visible exterior surface rust, minor dents, and cosmetic weathering from maritime service. • As-Is / Clearance Containers: Retired containers sold at discounted pricing that may exhibit structural wear or need minor patch repair. Sold without warranty and recommended for non-critical agricultural or scrap storage.

3. Pre-Owned Trailers & Equipment

Pre-owned trailers and equipment undergo a rigorous multi-point mechanical inspection: • Inspection of structural frame rails, tongue, welds, and crossmembers. • Inspection of coupler/hitch safety, breakaway chains, jack, and wiring harness. • Inspection of axle alignment, leaf springs, wheel bearings, and electric/surge brakes. • Assessment of tire tread depth and floor deck condition. Wear consistent with normal commercial use is normal and accurately documented in product descriptions.

4. Photographs & Cosmetic Variations

Catalog photographs accurately illustrate the condition grade, specifications, and build quality of each model line. Because individual shipping containers in regional intermodal depots carry unique container ID numbers and varying factory maritime paint colors (e.g., blue, green, terracotta, gray), cosmetic color shades may vary unless a specific repainting package was quoted in writing.
